Electronic Case Files (ECF)

Attorneys must file all documents in civil and criminal cases electronically using the Electronic Case Filing (ECF) portion of the court's CM/ECF system absent exemption by Local Rule, Supplemental Rule for Electronic Case Filing, or Court Order. Non-incarcerated pro se litigants in a pending case may apply to the court for permission to file documents electronically through ECF.

ECF Login/Password
File documents electronically using the login and password issued to you by the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

ECF - Email Account Information
Attorneys, and parties given permission to file electronically, must keep the email address(es) associated with their CM/ECF account(s) current to ensure receipt of filings.  Email addresses may be updated by accessing the "Maintain Your Account" function found in "Utilities" when logged into CM/ECF.

ECF Registration
Attorneys admitted to the Bar of this court or Pro Hac Vice may use this link to register for ECF. Attorneys admitted to practice Pro Hac Vice must wait until their motion is granted before registering.

ECF Password Reset
If you have lost or forgotten your ECF login and password, click the link above and the ECF system will send an email to your primary email address of record with your login and a new password. A Filing User who learns that the security of their password has been compromised must immediately notify the clerk's office.

Pro Se Motion to Obtain ECF Login/Password and Registration Form
Non-incarcerated pro se parties may request an ECF login and password by completing these forms and filing them with the clerk's office in paper.
