Advisory Committee:
This page outlines the purpose of the Federal Court Advisory Committee and lists its members.

Bar Admission:
The requirements for membership in the district's bar as well as prerequisites for obtaining permission to appear pro hac vice.

CJA Panel:
The District's Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panel are attorneys available for appointment as counsel for indigent defendants. The District's plan, information on becoming a member of the Panel, training library listing, and other resource materials are included.

Federal Law Clerk Information System:
This site has made the process of finding and applying for these desirable positions both easier and more efficient. In addition to allowing perspective applicants to search a national database of federal law clerk vacancies, the site contains some basic information about the duties, qualifications, salary and benefits of a federal law clerk position.

Federal Practice Section:
This section of the NH Bar Association was established in January 2000. Its mission is to provide input from federal practitioners on improving court procedures and practices while enhancing the bench/bar relationship. It also plans CLE opportunities on topics of interest to federal practitioners. NH Litigation Guidelines:
These guidelines represent a means of maintaining civility in New Hampshire trial practice. Bar members are encouraged to incorporate the spirit of the guidelines into their legal practices and use them as an aspirational goal to resolve disputes rationally, peacefully and efficiently.

Professionalism Creed:
New Hampshire lawyers are the custodians of the "rule of law," responsible for the maintenance and improvement of just and efficient legal institutions. In addition to the obligation to adhere to the Rules of Professional Conduct, they must be honest, competent, civil and ethical in providing prompt, cost-effective and independent counsel to their clients. As such, New Hampshire lawyers aspire to this creed.
