2025 Federal Practice Institute
The United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire will host the 12th Federal Practice Institute at the Warren B. Rudman U.S. Courthouse on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 8:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The program is designed for attorneys who litigate in federal court and is offered free of charge. Attendance is restricted to attorneys admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Lunch and refreshments are included with registration. Under the CLE accounting rules, the event may qualify for 5 hours of live CLE credit, including 1.25 hours Ethics/Professional credit.
The morning session will be led by Jeffrey Rosen, the President and CEO of the National Constitution Center, where he hosts We the People, a weekly podcast of constitutional debate. Mr. Rosen will speak on the topics covered in his new book, Pursuit of Liberty: How Hamilton vs. Jefferson Ignited the Lasting Battle over Power in America, out in October 2025. As in past years, the Institute will provide traditional breakout sections on developments in specific practice areas. The afternoon will kick off with the Federal Judges Open Forum, and the day will conclude with an ethics presentation by Attorney David Rothstein, Former Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee, Attorney Emily White, and Attorney Richard Guerriero.
