Sentencing Letters

Beginning June 20, 2016, all sentencing letters (i.e. character letters or victim impact statements) that are not submitted to the court as an attachment to a pleading (such as letters submitted at a sentencing hearing or via the U.S. Probation Office) will be docketed in the court's electronic case docket when received by the court and available to the public via the public terminals located in the clerk's office. Learn more information about the process and the important considerations parties should bear in mind about sentencing letters here.
