Remote Deposition Stipulations

The court is aware that parties are increasingly conducting remote videoconference depositions in lieu of in-person depositions. To that end, parties may want to enter into agreed upon stipulations that govern remote videoconference depositions in order to avoid disagreements or misunderstandings during the deposition, and to avoid litigating those differences with the court. Below are sample stipulations that the parties may, but are not required to, consider when agreeing to conduct a remote videoconference deposition. The sample stipulations assume that the parties have agreed to video conferencing through a third-party provider, but can be modified as appropriate. To access the sample stipulation, click here.
