Clerk's Office Warns of Jury Phone and Email Scam

The United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire would like to warn the public of a scam in which callers pose as Deputy U.S. Marshals or other government officials and claim that the victim is about to be arrested for not appearing for jury duty but can avoid arrest by paying a fine. If you receive a call like this, do not provide any information to the caller. You are encouraged to report the incident to the U.S. Marshals Service at (603) 225-1632.
