DOVE Project/POWER Act Event

The POWER Act brings the federal court and local organizations together annually to promote pro bono representation. On Tuesday, September 15, 2021, at 12 p.m., the 603 Legal Aid Pro Bono Referral System’s DOVE Project will present “Legal Advocacy Fosters Victim Safety and Financial Self-Sufficiency,” a live webcast promoting free legal services for under resourced survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The legal needs range from family law and estate planning to consumer issues, housing concerns, and federal tax liabilities. This program will feature representatives from the legal community and the state and federal judiciary. For a list of faculty, please click here.
