Federal Court Ethics Forum, October 21, 2022

The United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire will host an Ethics Forum at the Rudman Courthouse on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. The presenters for the forum will be Sara Greene, Disciplinary Counsel for the NH Supreme Court Attorney Discipline Office, and David Rothstein, NH State Public Defender and Former Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee. Among other topics, they will discuss the duty to report attorney misconduct under New Hampshire Rule of Professional Conduct 8.3, and when partners or lawyers with management or supervisory authority have an obligation to report misconduct occurring within the firm under Rules 5.1 (b) and (c). One hour of Ethics CLE credits will be offered.

The event will be followed by an outside reception with breakfast items and refreshments provided.

Due to current COVID-19 community transmission levels, masks must be worn during the inside portion of the event, attendance will be limited, and registration is required.  Registration is open to members of the New Hampshire Bar Association and attorneys admitted to practice at the District Court.
