New Disclosure Requirements Effective December 1, 2022

Effective December 1, 2022, Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 7.1 will be amended to add the requirement that all parties and intervenors in diversity cases must file a disclosure statement naming, and identifying the citizenship of, “every individual or entity whose citizenship is attributed to that party or intervenor.” Additionally, Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1 will be amended to clarify that a nongovernmental corporate “intervenor” also must file a corporate disclosure statement.
