The United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire will host a Jeff Rosen CLE on October 21, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Warren B. Rudman U.S. Courthouse.  The program is designed for attorneys who litigate in federal court and is offered free of charge. Attendance is restricted to attorneys admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Lunch and refreshments are included with registration. Under the CLE accounting rules, the event may qualify for 3 hours of live CLE credit, including 1 hour Ethics/Professional credit.

Our keynote speaker will be Professor Jeffrey Rosen, who will speak on the topics covered in his two books, Pursuit of Liberty:  How Hamilton vs. Jefferson Ignited the Lasting Battle over Power in America, and Pursuit of Happiness: How Classical Writers on Virtue Inspired the Lives of the Founders and Defined America. His presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

The day will start with a one-hour ethics presentation, followed by our keynote speaker, Professor Rosen, and conclude with a judges’ panel. Lunch will be served following the conclusion of the program to give the federal bar an opportunity to mingle with each other and the federal bench.
