Sentencing Options and Special Conditions
On November 3, 2014, the court adopted a new policy in criminal cases regarding proposed Sentencing Options and Supervision Conditions. Pursuant to the policy, the USP will be filing and providing to the parties in advance of sentencing its proposed Sentencing Options and Supervision Conditions. Any objections to the options and conditions must be made in the parties' sentencing memoranda. At sentencing, the defendant will be required to execute an acknowledgement confirming that s/he has received, reviewed and understood the proposed sentencing options and conditions. The administrative order setting forth this policy and the acknowledgment form can be found here.
